C. Richard Buck, B.A., LL.B., C.S.

Richard was called to the bar in 1975. He attended the University of Western Ontario Law School and was on the Dean’s List. He achieved first class Honours at the Ontario Bar Admission Course thereafter.

Richard was a litigator in Family Law in the Superior Court of Justice approaching fifty (50) years. He specialized in and conducted complicated high net worth files his entire career. His early years were spent in Toronto, Ontario at Thomson Rogers and the offices of Elliott R. Pepper. Many of Richard’s motions/trials/appeals have been reported in the Law Reports.

Richard had an 88.9 percent approval rating by his peers and had been featured in publications such as Martindale-Hubbel and Best Lawyers in Canada.

Richard was a tenacious and fierce litigator who achieved outstanding results for his clients whether negotiated or litigated. He appeared in the Superior Court of Justice motions court, Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Richard’s geographical span was from Windsor (west) to Parry Sound (north) to Kingston and St. Catharines (south/east) including those Courthouses in between and has historically been well connected with the Family Law Bar in Toronto, Ontario.

Richard retired from the practise of law in 2025.
